Photographic Projects & Storytelling

In this webinar, professional nature and landscape photographer Murray Livingston shares insights from his ongoing multi-year project, This Land Remembers, a unique photographic storytelling odyssey exploring Scotland’s last remaining remnants of the Ancient Caledonian Forest.

Along with stories and images from Scotland, Murray discusses the benefits of developing long-term projects, how to find and photograph concepts that are unique to your creative vision, and why we should harness the power of images to communicate ideas.

Images from Murray’s project have been published in Outdoor Photography Magazine, Poetic Visuals, and most recently featured in the Trees for Life’s 2026 calendar, a Scottish re-wilding Charity.
