Webinar hosted by Paul Crawford and featuring guest Richard Guest

Think you need pitch-black skies and a desert laboratory to capture the wonders of the cosmos? Think again.
Join us for an inspiring session with Richard Guest who turned his light-polluted Kingswinford garden into a window to the universe. Whether you are a seasoned pro or just dusting off an old telescope, Richard will show you how to cut through the light pollution and capture breathtaking images of the stars.

By day, Richard is a Metallurgist and Quality Manager with over 40 years of experience in Specialty Steels. While his passion for astronomy spans decades, it was the events of 2020 that brought the stars back into focus.

Starting with a humble 5” Skywatcher and a smartphone, Richard has since defied the “general perception” that urban astrophotography is impossible. He is living proof that with the right technique and a bit of persistence, the entire universe is within your reach – no matter where you live.
