My name is Paul Crawford and I am a wedding & portrait photographer based in Ballyclare, Northern Ireland.

I started running in-person photography workshops for beginners back in 2011 after closing my busy high street photography studios.

I had always planned on making these courses available online. With the Covid-19 pandemic forcing my wedding photography and all my in-person photography workshops to cancel, I made the most of my free time and set about creating photographycourses247.com, launching at the end of April 2020.

Part of my marketing to drive traffic to the website was the free weekly webinar. This feature quickly grew in popularity and we started to create a growing community of enthusiastic photographers, keen to learn more.

At the start of 2021, we launched the "community" aspect of the platform, allowing members to post their own photos and interact with each other.

As 2021 passed, it was clear that the original name - photographycourses247.com did not reflect what we were doing within the community and on the platform. Hence, at the start of 2022, we rebranded as Photo Club 247 - the friendly photography club available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
