Tonight we experienced something entirely new and incredibly special on the PhotoClub247 platform.
Our presentation with Jonathan Vaines and Nigel Thomas completely transcended standard photography discussions and reminded us why we pick up a camera in the first place. It was a deeply moving, humbling, and beautifully raw session.
To hear both men speak so candidly about their darkest moments, and how the creative process and the tangible act of printing can quite literally became a lifeline, was a powerful reminder of the therapeutic sanctuary of our craft.
Because the message of this talk is so universally important, we’ve decided to break from our usual tradition. Normally, our webinars go into the members only Webinar Replay Library after the weekend, but we are keeping this specific replay completely free, forever, for anyone who needs to hear it.
Furthermore, Nigel and Jonathan have generously asked that their speaking fees be donated directly to the mental health charity MIND.

There was no ego in the room tonight.
Just two photographers sharing their vulnerability in the hope that it might help someone else. A massive thank you to both Nigel and Jonathan for trusting us with their stories and for their incredible generosity.
If you’re going through a difficult time with your mental health, please know you are not alone. There is courage in seeking help, and there are people ready to listen and support you.
