A new book of breathtaking images presents Ireland’s beauty from every corner and through all four seasons.
My good friend John Taggart, an Antrim based photographer who has appeared as a guest on a PhotoClub247 webinar, has journeyed across Ireland to capture stunning landscapes and compile them into a remarkable album titled “Ireland In Photographs” which recently hit bookshelves.
This collection of over 120 photographs encapsulates the magic and mystery of Ireland, showcasing its breathtaking natural beauty and distinctive scenery.
The book features captivating images of the majestic Cliffs of Moher, sweeping vistas of the Mourne Mountains and the awe-inspiring columns of the Giant’s Causeway.
Thatched cottages, cascading waterfalls, picturesque lighthouses, along with caves, rocks, castles, and shipwrecks, all find their place within its pages.
From the northernmost point of Ireland to the southernmost and numerous locations in between, John has dedicated countless days to immortalizing the spectacular Emerald Isle in all its seasonal glory and in all weather conditions!
I love John’s Landscape work and find it so interesting to see how he has photographed many of the local scenes I have visited myself, and how the light and weather can dramatically change the landscape.
The photographs are stunning – my only criticism of it is the page layout – I would rather see a border on the images so you don’t have to battle with the book fold and the image title on each page is a little distracting.
If you are interested in Landscape photography, or perhaps visiting Ireland and looking for ideas for venues to visit, you should buy this book!
I wish John every success with this book and hopefully, the first of many more books in the future.
Published by Amberley Publishing, “Ireland in Photographs” by John Taggart is now available on Amazon and all good bookstores, and you can see more of John’s Landscape photography on his website John Taggart Landscapes
